Managed hosting provides an extra layer of support that goes above and beyond the standard support included with your hosting service. What this support entails varies on the hosting service you have. Typically, managed hosting applies to virtual dedicated and dedicated servers, but we do have a managed service for shared hosting as well.

How Much Does Managed Hosting Cost?
The managed service costs $75 per month per virtual dedicated slice or dedicated server, or $125 for premium management per month per virtual dedicated slice or dedicated server. The managed service can be added or removed at any time.

Are There Any Limitations of Managed Hosting?
Managed hosting includes support of all items listed above. It does not include any programming, development, or web design services. Any software that you install or configurations that you change may not be covered, so we recommend that you let us perform any needed installations of software or configuration changes. We do not install or upgrade web scripts (scripts that are used on a website, like WordPress or Drupal, for example), as part of our managed service.
If you install any software while the server is unmanaged, we may not be able to support that specific configuration. We are unable to diagnose or support issues with software that is not on the server (for example, client-side software).
While it is highly unusual that anyone exceeds the monthly cap of 2 hours per slice/server of total system administration time (3 hours for premium service), any time spent over this amount per month is billed at the discounted rate of $50 per hour, billable in 15 minute increments with no minimum.
